Our Make and Take sessions from November all the way up to February 2027 🙀. For youth groups AND home sessions! Perfect idea for a special occasion for creative teens !
Each session you get all the equipment and material provided, plus step by step instructions with a worker qualified in both Art and Youth work (yes!).
The young people get to keep what they make PLUS for youth organisations we will make something you can display in your building 😍.

One-to-one mentoring 🧡

HB Youth are here to support young people and one of the ways we do that is through our one to one mentoring program.

We currently offer mentoring in Rochdale, but we are SO excited to let you know it is expanding!

We can work with young people aged 11-21 in:
🔸Rochdale
🔸Chorlton
🔸Salford
🔸Trafford
🔸Didsbury
🔸Manchester city centre
And surrounding areas.

Here’s what you can expect from our mentoring service:
🔸 Lead by a qualified youth worker with over 12 years experience working with young people
🔸Fully DBS checked and on the update service
🔸trained in: counselling, ADHD & Autism awareness, radicalisation, safeguarding, LGBT+, and much more

We can work on:
🔸school stress
🔸low mood, anxiety
🔸resilience and confidence building
🔸identity, gender & sexuality
🔸 bullying
🔸healthy relationships
🔸online safety
And much, much more!

Our pricing is £25 for a 50 minute session in your own home
Or £25 plus local room hire rate (we do t add anything on top)

It seems like there’s something every day in the news about Ai, whether it’s the end of the world or a new photo trend. It’s a minefield as an adult, so how can we expect young people to be able to safely navigate a constantly changing landscape. What do you think?

At last nights one to one mentoring session the young person was baking when I arrived. They had made these amazing maple and cinnamon cupcakes!! 🧁 we chatted about how baking helps reduce stress and anxiety. Baking is the perfect accidentally mindful activity, especially for teens! We had a playlist on and following the instructions is a great way to keep minds focused and stop overthinking and is a great distraction from all the stresses of the day. What’s your go to activity to keep your mind focused?

As the founder of HB Youth, you see a lot of my mug on instagram. But did you know there’s a team of incredible women behind HB youth? Hannah is one of our directors and she is MEGA. Shes the captain of Manchester Storm Womens Team , shes a talented musician, shes even a Guinness world record holder!!! AND shes about to go back to uni to start her PHD. We could not be prouder of her and wish her all the success in the world! We can’t wait to call you DOCTOR Hannah.
Believe it or not I first met Hannah when she was a young person attending the youth service where I worked! Years later, fate brought us back together when Hannah started working at that same youth service. (She must have had a really inspirational youth worker!)
Go smash your PHD Hannah! We love you 🥰

LINO PRINTING FOR ALL AGES!
When I did my first fundraiser, it was a Halloween craft workshop for young people and pretty much everyone in my life said ‘I’d love to do that!’ And well, I made that happen! So our fundraiser workshops are now for ALL AGES! Our next one is Halloween/Autumn Lino printing. We are raising funds to start a girls group! 18 tickets left!!
