Our story
The Circle community believes that people can be each others' solution, and backs it up every day, week and month by helping each other out with life's practical bits and pieces. Circle is also about learning new things, and enjoying your hobbies and interests with others in the community. One number to call to help stay sorted, and a social network to help stay connected, that's the idea. It's an idea that people like you helped bring to life. Circle was co-designed and tested with over 250 older people and their families, and developed by our partners at Participle Ltd. Since we launched in May of 2009, we've worked with hundreds of people to continue shaping how it works and what we do. Circle is a membership organisation and without the commitment and involvement of members and Helpers none of this would be possible. Circle is a social enterprise registered in the UK as a Community Interest Company (CIC). In other words, we care about maximizing our social impact, not our bottom line, and any profits we do make will be re-invested in the community. Circle is a new way of doing things that aims to help you lead the life you want to lead, and we're counting on you to help us improve the service and grow the community, so please get in touch and let us know how we're doing!

What a fantastic last 7 days or so we’ve had, with so much support for the activities and events we have put on.
We also found time for possibly our most comprehensive list of daily specials, plus additional cakes and sweet treats!
Today’s quiz, 🤔was as popular as ever, with a new winning team! 🏆
Last week Breakfast for Blokes, produced the usual banter filled morning.
The Bingo was another great day and we even managed to pull all our winners together for a group photo.
Tim, our amazing Volunteer completed his sponsored bike ride for the Hive and he absolutely smashed his target, and Tim will be announcing soon his final total.
Because of demand in the kitchen we have had to upgrade our toaster to a 6 slice commercial kitchen model, expensive, but worth it in the long run as we continue our kitchen upgrade work.
The note we received from one of our customers was truly heart warming and one that we are proud to share.
Thanks to your support we have again been able to open on Saturday, as we are this Saturday so thank you for your continued support.
And finally we were super excited to launch our Hive Halloween 🎃 Party, which has proved a hit already, and we are sure it will be something special!
So thank you to all our customers and supporters for your continued help, encouragement and support!
You definitely do Thrive at the Hive!
