Interested in volunteering? Come and join us for our Volunteering Open Day! 💚

We are hosting 2 sessions on Friday 2nd October! The morning session will be 10am until 12pm, and the afternoon slot will be 2pm-4pm.

Meet current volunteers and likeminded people who are all wanting to take the next step in volunteering for Springhill Hospice. There will be a short presentation about the Hospice and the opportunities available, and you will meet the Volunteer Team. We kindly ask that you arrive for the start time of your chosen slot, so we can begin the presentation.

Ramble, run, or cartwheel - our brilliant supporters get around the 3 Reservoir Ramble course in many ways! 💚

The ramble is a fab way to get outdoors and spend time with your loved ones, and we love to see Springhill supporters so young want to do something for their community!

“It’s like having your mum back, when you’re ill”

John’s journey with the Hospice started with our Wellbeing Hub where he made friends with another fellow Rochdale FC fan. He was supported by our community nurses so he could stay at home with his second love, his cat Betty.

John even held his own wake because he didn’t want everyone to have the fun without him, and when the time came, he spent the last few days of his life at Springhill Hospice surrounded by the people who loved him. 💚
