The Bond Board

The Bond Board Working to reduce homelessness by finding homes in the private rented sector for those on low incomes Everyone deserves a place to call home.

The Bond Board is a registered charity that has an impact on homelessness and the well-being of homeless and vulnerable private rented sector households. We provide Bond Guarantees for those who are homeless and cant afford a cash deposit for a private rented tenancies, along with a range of holistic support services in 1-1 and group settings. We enable vulnerable, homeless households to get hous

ed, manage their new homes and maximise their opportunities to achieve a brighter future. We provided 91 new Bond Guarantees to house homeless households (including 43 children) into decent, affordable private rented accommodation this year. We housed 31 homeless households from temporary homeless accommodation, enabling them to resettle into a long tern home and freeing up space for others in need. 542 formerly homeless households are currently housed by The Bond Board in the private rented sector and are able to access all of our support services whenever they need them.

We had a great time at the Volunteer fair yesterday and lovely to meet the Mayor and Mayoress of Rochdale as well as network with other organisations.
A lovely lady from one of the organisations introduced herself and told us she had been helped by the Bond Board 14 years ago. She is now a home owner but shared how the Bond Board helped her with a bond in a difficult time and gave her the stepping stone she needed to rebuild her life. Blew us away!
