Waking Night Support Worker – Milnrow
30 hours per week | £13.50 per hour

We are a specialist residential service providing short-term care and support to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. The individuals we support may present with complex needs and behaviours, including behaviours that can be challenging.
We are currently seeking compassionate, resilient, and experienced individuals to join our team as Waking Night Support Workers. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours and a strong understanding of person-centred care.

✨**Welcoming the New Year at Footprints Community Care**✨

As we step into the New Year, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our colleagues across local authorities, the NHS, and partner organisations who have worked alongside us and trusted Footprints Community Care over the past year.

2025 has been a year of meaningful impact. Together, we have supported individuals with some of the most complex behavioural needs, many of whom had not experienced a good quality of life for decades. Through our short-term assessment model and person-centred approach, we’ve been able to better understand individuals who were previously “going round in circles” in other community settings, helping to shape more successful long-term outcomes and improved quality of life.

None of this would be possible without our exceptional team, who consistently deliver care to the highest standards with compassion and professionalism. Special recognition goes to Pascoal, our Registered Manager, whose leadership continues to guide and inspire the team which ultimately underpins the success of our service.

Looking ahead, we are excited that several residents will be transitioning into their forever homes in the New Year. As a result, Footprints Community Care will be accepting new referrals for individuals who require *short-term assessment and support*, particularly where progress has not been achieved in other community placements and needs require deeper understanding to inform long-term planning.

We look forward to continued collaboration in the year ahead and to making a positive difference together.
