The Centre is owned by Derbyshire County Council, but managed on a day to day basis by a team of volunteers and representatives who meet once a month and the Centre is funded through lettings and fundraising. If you would like to get involved then please let us know. The building was formerly the village school and when it became surplus to educational requirements in 1984 local people, groups and

councils come together and the new Community Centre was opened in 1986. Improvements since then include removal of an interior wall and the installation of sliding doors, a completely new kitchen, a glazed linkway and disabled ramp, a toilet for the disabled, together with a baby changing facility, internal and external storage facilities and a carpeted room with comfy chairs and several redecorations. 🌼 Stall Holders Wanted – Daffodil Show Saturday 28th March

As part of our Daffodil Show we are inviting local stall holders to join us at Waingroves Community Centre.

We would love to welcome craft stalls, cake stalls, and other handmade or local products.

🕑 Time: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
📍 Location: Waingroves Community Centre

There is no charge for a table. We simply ask for a small donation to the Community Association if you make any sales on the day.
