We're pleased to be sharing this survey on behalf of Youth Options to get insights to help improve youth programmes.

Your views will be shared with people who have the power to change things, ensuring they include what young people in Hampshire and Southampton really want. Everything you tell them is anonymous.

The survey is 23 questions around youth clubs and activities, wellbeing, feeling safe, social media, your views and about you. It should take around 5 minutes to fill in. Submissions close on 30th June.

Have your voice heard by filling in the survey here: https://tinyurl.com/3r9vmdup

Let’s Be Smokefree is funded by Hampshire County Council’s Public Health Team and aims to empower voluntary, social enterprise and community organisations to support their communities to quit smoking.

They are offering workshops, grants, and direct support to VCSE organisations across Hampshire.
Participating organisations will be supported to:
• Deliver community-led activities that increase knowledge and motivation to quit smoking
• Promote awareness of wider to***co control issues, including the risks of passive smoking, health inequalities, and the availability of ci******es to young people
• Provide peer support, signpost individuals and make referrals to Smokefree Hampshire's free, flexible stop smoking support service.

Grants of ÂŁ2,000 are available to groups that attend and can support 30+ members of their community and facilitate engagement with Smokefree Hampshire's free stop smoking service.

The next online session on 13th May at 11am: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/lets-be-smokefree-workshop-tickets-1777884403109?aff=oddtdtcreator

🌿 Thinking about coming along… but not quite sure?

That’s completely normal.

Most people who come to our hubs felt unsure before their first visit.

👉 Will it feel right?
👉 Will they settle?
👉 Will I feel comfortable?

So we make it simple:

đź’™ You can call us first
đź’™ You can come along to a drop-in
đź’™ You can try a free taster session

There’s no pressure. No expectations.

Just a warm welcome, a cup of tea, and people who understand.

And often, by the end of that first visit, something shifts:
🌿 It feels a little easier
🌿 A little less daunting
🌿 A little less lonely

💙 Dementia is hard, getting support shouldn’t be.

📍Hubs are in Totton, Portchester & Waterside

💬 If you’ve been thinking about coming along, feel free to get in touch, we’re always happy to chat.
