Good morning everyone,

Due to extremely high demand for our food bank and limited funds, we have unfortunately had to cut our food bank opening times.

This is to ensure we have enough viable stock available at all times to meet the needs of the community.

So for the foreseeable future the food bank will be open:

Tuesday - Thursday 9am - 3pm

We appreciate your understanding for what will hopefully be a temporary change to our services.

Little bit of a different at the centre today.
The Foryd Community Centre and Use Your Loaf Community Bakery are linked, and today we’ve started a project promoting the value both sites bring to the local community.
As well as highlighting the urgent need of publicity and funding for both projects.

That bag FULL of "bags for life" that you always forget when you go shopping, that you keep "just in case", that seems to be taking on a life of it's own.

But these strong, reusable carrier bags can make a HUGE difference to our foodbank here at the Foryd Community Centre!

We use them every day to pack & distribute food to people in our community who need it most.
So if your bag of bags is getting out of hand we'd LOVE to help you 😉 by receiving them and putting them to good use.

Under 16's ALN session ONE space available. Message Use Your Loaf Community Bakery for Information and to book.

On Wednesday 1st April (11am-2pm) we're holding a session ideally suited to under 16's with ALN. Due to a cancellation we have ONE space available!
Making sweet treats (iced buns or doughnuts) and pizza making for lunch.
Facebook message to book/enquire.
Must have a parent or responsible adult with them. £10 preferred charge but let us know in confidence to pay what you can afford.
Please note we CAN'T take bookings via comments.

It was a happy hot cross buns session for our Wednesday ALN bakers last week!
With us being CLOSED this week due to staff holidays and us being fully booked with young bakers over the next few weeks it was their only chance for an Easter bread bake!

We are looking to gather some donations at The Foryd Centre and would love your help! If you have any new or unused items—such as gift sets, unwanted presents, chocolates, or vouchers—that you would be willing to part with, we are currently collecting them at our reception on Princes Street.
Your generosity makes a huge difference to the work we do here in Rhyl, and we are always so grateful for the way this community looks out for one another. If you have anything you'd like to drop off, please pop in and see us or give us a call at 01745 630652.

Midweek hunger? We have the perfect solution! Join us at The Foryd Centre every Wednesday for a delicious, full roast dinner that is open to everyone in the community. For just £1.50, you can enjoy a hearty meal, grab a slice of cake for 50p, and wash it all down with a drink starting from 50p. Whether you want to dine in with us between 12 PM and 2 PM or need a takeaway for later, we would love to see you there.
