What is our Honesty Basket?
Our Honesty Basket is located in the kitchen area of our breakout & waiting rooms and is there to offer a little help and a boost to anyone attending a baking session with us who might need it.
The basket usually contains a variety of items, from everyday food essentials to little treats.
We know times are tough financially and mentally for many people attending our sessions, and the basket is here to help in whatever small way it can.
Whether it’s a bag of pasta to help provide an evening meal or a chocolate wafer that’s been an unaffordable little luxury for months, every item can make a difference.
When our basket is full, donations are taken to the food bank at Foryd Community Centre on Princes Street, Rhyl, which we’re proud to be part of. Want to help? You can donate in-date, non-perishable food items whenever you visit us, or pop in during our usual opening hours.
We also have a separate Honesty Basket containing hygiene and toiletry essentials in our toilet.
Take what you need, donate what you can.
Because sometimes, it’s the little things that make a big difference.

Catching up on last night's The Great British Bake Off episode (no spoilers here 🤫) as it was Bread Week, definitely the episode of the series for us here at Use Your Loaf! Of course LOAVING the bread puns in the episode 🤣🙋🏼‍♀️

Remember we're closed until 21st October. As it's BOTH of our staff members’ birthdays over the next few days…. No messages, emails etc will be read or responded to until at least 14th October.

All non urgent messages and emails will be responded to when we re-open on Wednesday 21st October.

This is what we're all about!!!! Joy, skills, confidence, LOAVES of fun and going home with freshly baked artisan bread. All at a low affordable price in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Bakers & supporters, we are now CLOSED until Wednesday 21st October due to staff holidays.
During this time, we are not contactable by phone.
Vicky will still be logging on occasionally during this time, but a response cannot be guaranteed.
We’ll work through catching up with messages & emails as soon as we can, around baking orders and delivering classes, when we reopen at 9am on Wednesday 21st October.

Yesterday Jane did a BIG shop for the food bank at the Foryd Community Centre (based on Princes Street Rhyl).

Jane does this once a month on behalf of North Wales Shoebox Appeal and we're able to have the funds to do this (and MUCH more in and around our local community) thanks to YOU our generous and wonderful supporters! 👏🏼♥️🌻
