We're looking for a new Group Chair!

Could you help shape the future of Scouting in our community?

As Group Chair, you'll play a key role in supporting our volunteers, helping oversee the group's governance, and ensuring we continue to provide amazing opportunities for young people.

You don't need to be a Scouting expert, just someone with enthusiasm, good organisational skills, and a desire to make a positive difference.

If you're interested in learning more about this rewarding volunteer opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

On Friday we said a big thank you and goodbye to five of our amazing volunteers who are stepping down.

Between them, they have given countless hours of their time, energy, enthusiasm, and support, helping to make our group the welcoming and successful community it is today. Their dedication has made a real difference, and while we're sad to see them move on, we're incredibly grateful for everything they have contributed.

Please join us in wishing them all the very best for the future. 💙

P.S. We're looking for a few new volunteers to join the team. If you'd like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you!

2 of our Explorers kick off their fundraising efforts this weekend taking on the 15K Tough Mudder at Hopetoun Estate. A demanding challenge packed with mud and obstacles and demanding teamwork and determination, we are sure Iona and William will smash it!

Any donation, however small, will be gratefully received. Iona and William have been given an amazing opportunity to travel to Peru in 2027 where they will take part in community projects aimed at making a positive difference to local communities as well as being able to immerse themselves in the local culture.

We have 5 young people taking part in international trips next year and this page will be used for joint activities. There is a 5K run in Balloch on the horizon for some as well as other activities in the pipeline. Watch this space! All monies raised will be split between those taking part.

Go well guys!!

Iʼm raising money to support our young people travelling to Poland and Peru in 2027!. Support this JustGiving Crowdfunding Page.
