SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE, IS MISSING OUT ON THEIR BEST FRIEND 💔

Imagine if nobody ever chose you.

If you watched others find their forever homes, watched them leave for their new beginnings, while you stayed behind, wondering when it would finally be your turn.

This is the reality for so many of our adult cats.

They’re so often overlooked in favour of the younger, the smaller, the kittens. But in doing so, people could be walking straight past one of the greatest friendships they’ll ever find.

Our adult cats have so much love to give. They have personalities that will make you laugh, little quirks that will make you fall in love and the potential to become your shadow, your comfort on a difficult day, and the little face waiting to greet you when you get home.

Somewhere out there is a person who would be absolutely perfect for each of these cats. Someone who would adore them, spoil them rotten and wonder how they ever lived without them.

And for those of you who have never had a cat before, or who have sadly lost a much-loved feline friend, one of our adults could be the perfect place to start again.

Many of our cats are looking for homes where they can be the only cat, with safe, suitable outdoor access. For the right person, that means the chance to build a special bond with a companion who can truly settle into being the only cat in their home.

Please don’t assume they’re too old, too settled in their ways, or that someone else will come along for them.

Stop. Look at their faces. Read their stories. Give them a chance.

Because your best friend might not be a kitten. They might be the beautiful soul who’s been waiting at the sanctuary, hoping that one day, someone will finally choose them.

Someone is missing out on their best friend. Could that someone be you?

Sirius & Sputnik 😻

These two sweet boys looking for a new home. Despite being born to a stray mum they adapted to home life very quickly and love nothing more than snuggling somewhere cosy.

Both boys are very playful and love chasing their mouse on a stick or wrestling each other.

When they’re not playing they are very cuddly, Sputnik is the most chilled and is just happy to sit next to you on the sofa. Sirius is a fluffy boy who absolutely adores being picked up.

They are an affectionate pair and would love a home together.

Having been born outside, both are flu carriers and could have flare ups from time to time. Spuknit is still slightly chesty but our vet has no concerns and has linked it as a flare up of the flu.

Both boys are 4 months old, fully vaccinated, healthchecked & microchipped. To be neutered soon.

Joseph and Isaac are brothers from another mother, but they came in to the sanctuary together and share a bond thicker than blood so are looking for a special home together.

This handsome pair aren’t your typical cuddly lap cats, they prefer to admire you from a distance rather than be stroked or picked up. They are willing to share their space with you, especially when you’re bringing food, but will need a new human slave who understands and respects their boundaries. They are currently strictly hands off.

But don’t let that put you off!

Playtime is their love language! They’ll happily interact with you through toys, they are especially fond of crinkly balls, and keep you entertained with their playful antics while quietly judging your efforts to engage in any sort of meaningful relationship.

They’re perfect for someone who enjoys watching cats’ individual personalities shine through and is happy to build a bond on their terms.

They’re looking for a patient, understanding home where they can feel safe, settled and loved for exactly who they are.

They may not be the cuddliest of cats, but they still deserve a chance to find their special someone who will appreciate their unique personalities and love them just as they are.

Isaac is 4.5 months old and Joseph is 5 months. Both are fully vaccinated and microchipped. Joseph is neutered and Isaac is booked in to be neutered next week.
