Hi Brethren,
Lodge St Christopher 1453 agreed to fund a leaf on the memory tree at the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in honour of our sadly missed Past Master Bro.John Wallace.
We attended the hospice this morning to present the cheque for £250 along with John's wife, son and daughter.
We will be having some further fund raising events in the near future so we hope you can support us.

The Provincial Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Renfrewshire over the last 10 weeks have undertaken statutory visits to every Chapter, Lodge and Council and Council in the province.
At each visit the Prostate awareness message was delivered both during the meeting and in the refectory post meeting.
The above pics were taken at each visit and the Prostate Scotland pop up banner very much front and centre.
A great opportunity not only to reinforce the message but to receive feedback on the effectiveness of the awareness campaign in the province.
All feedback very positive especially the success of linking with the PGL Renfrewshire East mental health awareness.

Erskine Golf Club Prostate Scotland Pro Am.
The Golf Club, with the full support of Brian McFadyen and Myself (John Malcolm) have decided to change the format of the event.
Although the event in 2025 was a great success it was felt after a full debrief involving staff, volunteers and selected participants that improvements could be made to the delivery of the event.

It was decided, with the full support of PGA (Scotland) that the event should take place every two years and become a three day professional tournament.
Fri-Pro-am. As last year
Sat and Sun-Professional tournament .

This format will attract a greater number of professional participants and with the Pro Am on the Friday attract the professionals because no other practice rounds will take place.

Prostate Scotland signage will remain in place for all 3 days as will information packs promoting awareness.

Prostate Champions will be available on all three days.

I (John Malcolm) have spoken with Alison , Ch Exec Prostate Scotland and she is also supportive of this change.

Final date to be confirmed but will be in June 2027.
