Good evening everyone less than a week to go and we are back to our usual Thursday night of fun with singing and dancing. I hope you all have not missed us to much while we have been away getting the hall ready for another exciting year ahead. Have missed all your comments and the clubbers smiling faces on a Monday and Thursday night. We can’t wait to hear what you all have been doing over the summer break and I’m sure you will see what we have been up to. So looking forward to seeing you all back next Thursday. Until then take care. What’s your thoughts on our new sign.

Hi Everyone just keeping you all up to date with the changes at the club that we’re doing over the summer break. I will drop posts when each stage takes place.
The first of the works is now almost completed with the installation of our new gas boiler and central heating for the club. Every room in the building has got something happening in it. Don’t worry everything will be completed before we start back after the summer break.
So here is where we’ve got to so far.

With The Blackpool Tower – I just made it onto their weekly engagement list by being one of their top engagers! 🎉

What a shame I’m a top person for engagement especially as I was only complaining about their lack of facilities for payment and contact.
When we were there on holiday with the clubbers I got a glimpse into how difficult things can be to get access to without a credit card. Various ones amongst our group decided they wanted to go to the circus unfortunately they don’t have a card to make a card payment. The tower no longer take cash and offer no other alternative. So sadly they were unable to get in and had to go and find something else to do. I have emailed them also messaged n Facebook but no one has cared to respond.
They also have a contact telephone number that is chargeable but does not work. Sadly again only way to contact is online. Some of our clubbers do not have that facility or skill to do things online and leave them feeling excluded from everyday activities due to this.
If they ever reply i will let you know how I got on.

Like all good things it must come to an end. Last dance of the holiday and what a holiday we all had. Hopefully I can get some other peoples pictures from the holiday to share with you all. We might have missed somethings. Thanks again for watching and following us on Facebook. We have almost made it to 1000 followers don’t keep us a secret tell your friends to follow. It really makes it all worth while knowing we are all bringing some happiness to the people who can’t be there with us. Memories are there to be made and shared.
