This all started with one woman and one idea.

We want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible Anna Lempriere - the licence holder, the visionary, and the driving force behind TEDxPorthtowan Women.

Anna didn't just dream this up, she made it real. Finding the right speakers. Building the right team. Bringing together the people needed for every piece of this puzzle and making sure it all moved forward, even when nobody else was watching.

The tech, the website, the tickets, the budget, the thousand little things that never make it onto anyone's radar. Anna found the right people for all of it, held it all together, and kept the vision alive throughout.

She has done this because she believed deeply and completely that Cornwall deserved a stage like this.

And this Sunday, 8th March, on International Women's Day, that belief becomes reality. A landmark event. A landmark moment. For Cornwall. For women. For every generation.

Anna - we are so proud to be part of something you brought into the world.

Behind every event that runs smoothly, there’s someone quietly making sure everything is in order. For TEDxPorthtowan Women, that someone has been Kernow Projects
