Trauma-informed boxing Therapy for young women aged 18-25 with

Fridays at the hub!!

This is more than just movement — it’s a space to understand yourself more deeply, to release what you’ve been holding, and to feel supported every step of the way.

In these sessions, you’ll:
🥊 Release stress and build strength in a safe, supportive environment
🧠 Learn how trauma and stress impact your mind and body
🌿 Explore simple, practical tools to support your healing
🥊 Develop boxing skills at your own pace — no pressure, just guidance
🧘‍♀️ Practice mindfulness and nervous system regulation

This work isn’t about pushing through or “toughening up.”
It’s about creating safety in your body, building confidence from within, and learning to move through life with more ease and awareness.

Join the Leach Pottery to make tea bowls using local clay.

Using hand-building techniques, forms your own tea bowls which suit your hands perfectly. The pots will be fired and glazed for you to drink from! No prior experience with clay necessary.

The Leach Pottery in St Ives was founded 1920 by Bernard Leach. We are now a Pottery, Museum, Shop and Learning Programme. Leach’s approach was informed by his time in Japan and this fusion between Cornwall and Japan is seen in how we make pots today.

Young women are DYING to be heard.

We are told to break the stigma, to talk out about mental health, but who is there to listen when we do?

The young women that access our services tell us they have tried to seek help, but are not being listened too, not being taken seriously, so eventually they stop asking, they find other ways to try to ease or end the pain.

Last year a 12 month study by Royal Cornwall hospitals trust showed admissions to A&E in under 25’s for self harm and su***de attempts were 72.2% female.

Su***de is the LEADING cause of death in young people the UK, and Cornwall has a higher than average rate.

At Georgia’s Voice we keep our demographic small, (women aged 18-25) so we don’t have a waitlist to join, we offer a wide range of support options to suit everyone, no referral is needed and all the support we offer is FREE.

Our support is consistent and reliable, and we now offer some kind of support 7 days a week. WE ARE HERE BECAUSE WE WANT YO BE, WE ARE HERE BECAUSE WE CARE 💜

We have face to face support groups across Cornwall that run weekly on a Monday evening 6.30-8pm, (excluding bank holidays) we are happy to meet new members outside a little early to reduce anxiety around attending, details of locations here- https://georgiasvoice.co.uk/help-and-support/groups/
