The annual campaign to raise awareness of caring starts today.

Today we publish ‘Building Carer Friendly Communities: a blueprint’, setting out our vision for creating communities where unpaid carers are recognised, valued and supported.

The blueprint offers practical guidance on how to create carer friendly communities across health, social care, education, employment, business and services, and out and about in the wider community.

We are inviting our customers to take part in our upcoming Community Collaboration Session on 9th June between 10:30am to 12:30pm, where we’ll be reviewing key policies that impact your home and community.

Your voice matters, and this is a great opportunity to share your thoughts on areas including the Good Neighbour Policy, Anti-Social Behaviour Policy, the Damp, Mould & Ventilation Policy, and our Disrepair Policy.

We understand everyone has different schedules, so we’ve made it as flexible as possible for you to get involved:
• Join us in person or online during the session.
• Receive the policies in advance to read in your own time.
• Share your feedback via email if you are unable to attend on the day.

However you choose to take part, your feedback will help us improve and shape better services for all Coastline customers.

As a thank you for your time and input, all participants will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 voucher.

We are SUPER proud of Dean Wills, one of our Apprentice Electricians here at Coastline who is starting for Cornwall at Twickenham on Saturday! 🙌

Dean plays for Redruth RFC on a weekly basis and he will be starting as Flyhalf (10) for Cornwall against Lancashire in the County Cup Final.

We're sure you will join with us in wishing Dean and his team all the very best of luck.

One of the people cheering loudest from the stands tomorrow is sure to be Dean's very proud dad Dave - who is also part of the Coastline family, working as a Supervisor in our Responsive and Minor Planned Maintenance Team!

Our Coastline Garden Competition is back for 2026!

We’re excited to welcome customer entries for this year’s competition, celebrating the amazing gardens, balconies, and outdoor spaces across our communities. Whether it’s blooming flower beds, creative pots, or colourful window boxes, we want to see it all.

To enter:
Take a few clear photos of your garden or outdoor space while it’s looking its best, including window boxes or pots. Email your photos to [email protected] and include your name and address.

If you’re nominating a neighbour’s garden, please include their details and make sure you have their permission first.

🌟 A fresh new look for Hens Horn Court

Customers and visitors at Hens Horn Court in Helston have been enjoying refreshed and revitalised communal spaces following a refurbishment carried out by Coastline.

Customers told us that the communal areas felt tired and really needed freshening up. They also told us that the bin stores were impractical and difficult to use.

We got to work and refreshed the communal areas with new carpets and paint that were chosen by customers. We also enhanced the outdoor communal areas and moved the bin store so that residents could better access it.

This was all carried out in conjunction with a project to replace the slate roof on the outside of the building, so you could say it's had a makeover both inside and out.

The new roof coupled with the newly pointed stone work and external paint and repair really sets the building off perfectly for many years to come and the indoor areas are being enjoyed by residents daily.

Hens-Horn Court was originally built in 1988 on the site of the former Helston Railway Goods Shed and is an important part of the town's history. It's an iconic building on Station Road that will be well known to many.

Formerly known as the Customer at the Heart Awards, they return with a new name, a fresh new look, and even more exciting categories, all designed to celebrate the people who make our communities stronger and great places to live.

We are looking for a Day Centre Support Assistant to work for 12 hours a week in our Social Hub at Miners Court.

You will be delivering a range of fun and interactive activities alongside professional assisted care and support services.

It's an incredibly rewarding job and you will be working with a team of great customers and colleagues.
