This morning, members of Illogan WI walking group went to see the poppy fields at Polly Joke. The weather wasn’t the best, nevertheless off we went, chatting & admiring the view & those beautiful flowers. Thank you Lynn for organising us. Beautiful Cornwall 💝
We enjoyed lunch at The Bowgie Inn. Good times🌺🌼

This months walk for Illogan WI was from Rinsey Head to Praa Sands along the coast path and then back inland. A bit breezy and one brief shower but fantastic views of Mounts Bay and the Lizard. Plenty of chatter and laughter with a delicious lunch stop in Praa Sands.

A fantastic day at the Silver Clay Jewellery workshop lead by Jo Hunter of Wearable Art. We all came away with our beautiful pieces of jewellery. Many thanks to the Cookery and Craft subcommittee for organising the session.

A beautiful day for Illogan WI’s monthly walk, to Sancreed Beacon, Caer Bran and Carn Euny settlement. A bit breezy but sunshine all the way. Lots of laughter and chat and ending with a hot drink out of the boot of Lynn’s car!

On our way home from a fantastic CFWI holiday to the Dutch Bulb Fields. A huge thank you to Clare for organising the trip and keeping us in check 😂. We have had a fab time 🥳

A lovely evening was had by members of Illogan WI last night. After a formal meeting we made secret boxes expertly taught by ‘The Two Ann’s’. (Anne Bird & Ann Haverly), we were even given a chocolate egg to place inside! 🐣. Thank you ladies! 🥰

The competition for the evening was an Easter Bonnet, many thanks to everyone who made the effort & congratulations to the three ladies who won certificates. 🥇🥈🥉
