This Volunteers’ Week we’re celebrating all our volunteers. 🫶🏼 Earlier this year, our volunteers were invited to St Michael’s Mount as a thank you for all they do to support our communities across Cornwall.

Thank you to for generously donating the day to visit your gardens and for recognising the importance of volunteers and charity. We really appreciate every single person who helps us make a difference to bereaved children, young people and their families.

Our staff and volunteers had a fantastic time at Cornwall RFU's home game against Kent on Bank Holiday Weekend - walking around with buckets and raising funds to support Penhaligon's Friends. 🏉🧸

Thank you so much to the team at Cornwall RFU for supporting us as your charity this year - and great to see our friends from Newells Travel there too.

What a fantastic game - and brilliant support from rugby fans who came along for the day. Good luck Cornwall in the final!

It's and throughout the week we'll be celebrating each and every one of our incredible volunteers who make it possible for us to provide support to families across Cornwall. Without our volunteers, we wouldn't be able to support over 1,000 bereaved children and young people across the county each year.

Volunteers each play vital roles, whether that's supporting our families directly or going out in the community and raising awareness of what we do. Whether you're a volunteer who's been with us for many years, you've recently started with Penhaligon's Friends, you're an ambassador who's hoping to make a difference, or someone who is considering volunteering with us in the future, we want to thank you all.

It's been a busy few weeks for our Penhaligon's Friends volunteers, fundraisers, family services team and Fudge the Bear, attending various events to raise awareness, have important conversations, and raise funds to support our work.

Thank you to Sunrise Cornwall for inviting Penhaligon's Friends to your open day earlier this month, and to Mystery Ninja - UK for inviting us to Liskeard Anime & Gaming Mini-Con to speak with young people in North Cornwall about our charity. It was brilliant to meet so many people at both of these fantastic community events. 💜

It's the final week of our Walk Every Day in May challenge! Swipe through the photos to see some adorable dogs who are raising awareness by wearing our Penhaligon's Friends bandanas this month. 🐕

We've had participants taking part to walk 30 miles or 60 miles - or even setting their own larger targets - to raise funds to support bereaved children, young people and their families across Cornwall. Every step until the end of this month counts and already you've made such an incredible impact.

Well done to everyone who's taken on the challenge and for all of the fantastic efforts so far. We're so grateful to your generous fundraising support. We want to thank each and every one of you. 💜

We'll be at Camborne Rugby Club on this afternoon, as Cornwall RFU are supporting Penhaligon's Friends for their Cornwall vs Kent match.

We'll be walking around the pitch with buckets and will have our mascot, Fudge the Bear, there too! You can come and meet us alongside Newells Travel who are one of our incredible corporate partners.

We hope to see lots of you there for an amazing atmosphere.

WOW! Thank you so much Newells Travel, Shane Solomon & Shaun Wallace who made this all possible. The BIG Quiz has raised over £3,500!

Fantastic - the community support and atmosphere on the night really made a huge impact. We're so grateful. 💟

Our BIG QUIZ with Shaun Wallace in aid of Penhaligon’s Friends has raised an incredible £3,519 in total! 🎉

From ticket sales to Shaun Wallace selfies and raffle tickets, every contribution helped make this event such a huge success. We just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along, supported the event, and made it such a fun and memorable evening.

Your generosity and support mean so much and will help Penhaligon’s Friends continue their amazing work supporting bereaved children and families ❤️
