Redruth Library has been declared Green Library Hub to serve as a community space for environmental learning and events, so on Saturday 24th October it will be hosting its first seed swap. We'll be there sharing some of our locally adapted varities . Why not pop down and find out what this new focus might mean for the community . interested in the Green Library Hub ideas find out here https://www.cilip.org.uk/advocacy/research-and-development/green-library-hubs/ .

Never a dull day when you are stewarding a diverse population of summer squash. Life's like a Crowd Breeding Network summer squash flock , you never know what you're gonna get.

This is a very inspirational and essential work. How to get around a lot of the modern worries. Be in charge of your own seeds, be in control of the food you want to eat. Saving locally adapted seeds is one of many small steps in the right direction.

Love this... building around work on the ground: using libraries bring people in, artists to make the revolution attractive, food projects keep it relevant, practices into shared learning, and deep listening to keep it rooted in real people, places and histories. it creates a loop: we get drawn in, interact, learn on the go, and grow the network further.
