Last night we hosted our annual RBL bingo night.
Thanks to all our friends and family, we have raised a total of £380 to split between the squadron and the Royal British Legion. What a turn out! ✈️

🎉 A HUGE thank you to Redruth Charity Trust! 🎉

We’re delighted to announce that we have been awarded over £200 from Redruth Charity Trust towards our brand-new IT suite! 💻👏

This generous contribution will help us create new opportunities for our cadets to develop their digital skills, build confidence, and gain valuable experience that will support them both within the Air Cadets and beyond. 🚀

We’re incredibly grateful to Redruth Charity Trust for supporting our squadron and helping us invest in the future of our cadets. 💙

Thank you for helping us take our squadron to the next level! ✈️

A GRAND OPENING 💻🎗️

At our open evening last week we had the grand opening of our newly installed IT suite. The honours were done by chairperson of the Redruth branch of the RBL who we are honoured to work so closely with.

Thank you to Air Cadet Charity who have helped make our cadets dreams a reality with the grant schemes they have run and thank you to our hard working civilian committee and squadron IT officer (pictured) for applying for the grants and helping with the install - from putting chairs and tables together to installing software on the devices - all round a great team effort 👏🏻

We can’t wait to put the IT suite to great use with our esports training, classification exams and finally enjoying the WIFI that we have waited so long for ❤️

Kicking off National Cadet Week by celebrating our September Cadet of the month, Cadet Miller!
Cadet Miller is constantly striving forwards to become an amazing air cadet. Watching him progress over the past few months both personally and academically has been a pleasure. His uniform is always smart and he is constantly using the RISE principles of the Air Cadets every night in squadron. Well deserved. 👏✈️🚀

THANKYOU! ✈️🚀💙

What a turn out our open evening was! Thanks to all the new potential recruits, the committee, the RBL and the Rotary Team and not forgetting our 77 team! It was a fantastic night opening our new IT suite, showing what we get up to at our squadron and meeting so many new friendly faces. We even welcomed everybody in a proper Cornish way with a Scone break! We can’t wait for you all to join our team and extend our 77 family.

If you couldn’t attend on Thursday and want to book a tour, please email [email protected].

Sign up on cadet portal now!

As part of National Cadets Week 2026, we’re holding a Skills for Life: Career Café for our cadets.

We’re hoping to welcome at least eight guests, who will each chat informally with small groups of cadets about their work, experiences and journey through life. We’ve already received some fantastic responses, but we’re still hoping to fill all eight guest spaces.

We welcome people from all jobs, backgrounds and walks of life. You don’t need an unusual career or a formal presentation—just a willingness to talk about your experiences and answer a few questions.

If you, or someone you know, might be interested in taking part, please get in touch. Full details are on the poster.
