Pip Thatcher came to us late Sunday night from St Tudy. We've no idea what happened to him but we've never seen bruising like this poor lad has 😒

Fortunately he's no other injuries and so far he's doing well with pain relief.

We've got all fingers crossed for him πŸ€žπŸ’•

Thank you to his lovely finders & Dave for doing the midnight transport run 😁

We would like to say a huge, huge Thank You to everyone who's donated to us recently, whether it's cash, bank, PayPal or buying from our Amazon Wish List, every single penny helps so much πŸ’•

A very special mention goes out to .tattoo.st.ives who raised a massive £897 for us (and the same amount for Surfers Against Sewage) with their flash day back in May. Lovely, lovely people, definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a new tattoo 😁

We've been busy as ever with lots of juveniles & adults in, fortunately they are turning around quickly & going home healthy πŸ’•

Video is of Trinnie, a juvenile Whiskered bat. Now Whiskereds are renowned for being sassy stompy little bats all I'll say about her is.. TEENAGERS!!

Apparently Batty Mums did not get the memo that we weren't taking in baby bats this year. The season started with a bang and so far we've received calls for almost 30 babies! Some being multiples from the same homes.

Fortunately we've been working with an absolutely amazing group of volunteers from Cornwall Bat Group who have been working their socks off reuniting babies with Mums, to date 14 have gone home πŸ’• 2 other Rescues have also taken babies for us to help relieve the pressure.

Currently we have 9 babies in care plus 2 juveniles (and another baby on the way in). Plus our usual adult intake which never stops 😊❀️

We want to say a massively huge thank you to everyone from CBG and the 2 other rescues for the help, support & time they've been giving to help these babies. It's so very appreciated.

Only another few weeks of baby season left to go 😳 πŸ˜΄πŸ˜‚

Look at this! 😁Thank you Shoreline Tattoo St. Ives πŸ’–

Hello lovely supporters, we hope you're all having a fine Bank Holiday weekend 😊

We've been ticking along nicely over the cold, wet and stormy months with a few bats in and we're starting to get a little busier now hibernation is coming to an end. The first 2 of our over-wintering bats were released last week and the rest won't be far behind 🀞

Unfortunately our main bat carer is dealing with some health issues and after a lot of conversations we've had to make the very difficult but necessary decision that we will not be taking in any baby bats this year.

This has been especially hard as (so far) we've not been able to secure an alternative for them but we need to make sure we can remain open and provide the same level of care for adults and older juveniles without the rest of the team becoming overwhelmed.

We will still be open 24/7 for help and advice. If you don't get an answer from Sam on our main number (07809768471) you can now call Dave on 07955637052 who will be happy to help.

Thank you and please enjoy our video of thirsty Whiskered Louise, who came in last week πŸ’•
