🌟 Come and join us at Rise and Thrive this Friday 🌟

Why not come along to Rise and Thrive at Treverbyn Community Hall?

Rise and Thrive is a friendly, welcoming group for young people who are not attending school or are on a reduced timetable.

Every session is different, with opportunities to:
🎨 Get creative
🎲 Play games
🤝 Meet new people
🌱 Explore weekly themes
🍽 Cook and share lunch together

Young people can join in as much or as little as they like, with support from our friendly team and no pressure to take part in anything they're not comfortable with.

💼 Need support to stay in work or get back into work? WorkWell could help. 💼

At Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change, we're proud to be part of the WorkWell programme, helping people overcome barriers that may be affecting their ability to work.

WorkWell offers free support for people with health conditions or other challenges that are impacting their working life. Support can include:

🤝 One-to-one coaching tailored to your situation
🎯 Help identifying practical solutions to challenges at work
📱 Access to digital tools and resources through the WorkWell app
💬 Guidance on wellbeing, confidence and work-related goals
🌱 Support to stay in work, return to work, or explore your next steps

Everyone's situation is different, which is why WorkWell focuses on what matters to you and the support that will work best for your circumstances.

We love welcoming inspiring visitors to our sessions, and last week was no exception!

We had a fantastic visit from the team at YZUP (WithYou in Cornwall's young people service). They ran a brilliant, non-judgmental workshop with our learners, focusing on health, wellbeing, and making safe, informed decisions.

At TOAST, personal development and emotional wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Having professional partners like YZUP drop in helps give our learners a voice, builds their communication skills, and provides them with supportive tools for everyday life.

A little bit of classic Cornish drizzle could never dampen our spirits! 🌧️☔

On Thursday, our Toasties braved the weather and headed down to the Royal Cornwall Show in Wadebridge. Despite the rain, it was an absolutely brilliant day out. Our learners got stuck into exploring everything from local agricultural displays and traditional crafts to the fantastic food tents.

Trips like this are a huge part of what we do at TOAST. It is all about giving our young people opportunities outside the classroom, navigating new environments independently, and building teamwork as they look out for one another. Everyone showed incredible resilience, kept their smiles bright, and made the absolute most of the day.

A massive well done to all our Toasties for being such fantastic ambassadors for TOAST, rain or shine!
