C Fylm

C Fylm C Fylm is a network of community film clubs for Cornwall. C Fylm is Cornwall’s film club network. Under 12’s are generally free with a donation to the film club.

We support community venues to screen a season of films for their local audience. We offer people across Cornwall the chance to watch great films in their own community, in the company of friends and family, at an affordable price. The project is run in partnership with Carn to Cove, Cornwall's performing arts scheme for rural communities. The success of C Fylm is founded on the commitment and ent

husiasm of the local volunteers across Cornwall. To keep great cinema popping up at these community venues we need the support of you and your friends in coming out for a great night of community cinema! Becoming a member of C Fylm will give you access to screenings in all of the active film clubs. To become a member, pick your film night, pay £6 for a membership card, and get your first screening for free. If you are aged between 12-15 years you can buy a Youth membership for £3, which includes your first screening. Once you become a member you can join our mailing list to find out about screenings across the network. Then just take your pick! Most clubs then charge between £3-4 for members tickets at subsequent screenings, and often have refreshments at great prices.

Meur ras / thank you to everyone who joined us for a very special screening of The Snowman at Truro Cathedral this afternoon! ❄️☃️

The festive favourite was screened with a live musical score, arranged and performed on the majestic Father Willis organ by Truro Cathedral Organ Scholar, Alfie Beston. Alfie was joined by Jenny Wells on violin, and the soaring voices of the Truro Cathedral Choir who sang We’re Walking in the Air.

Huge thank you to Alfie, Jenny and all the choir who performed so beautifully, to the music department and everyone at , and to for supporting this event.

Our second screening takes place on 23rd Dec (sold out) and we’re looking forward to doing it all again! 🎶 Will we see you there?

Is this the most beautiful projection booth in Cornwall? We’ve been tucked up in the Truro Cathedral choir stalls this afternoon getting ready for our sold-out screening of The Snowman - brought to life with live organ and choral accompaniment performed by the Truro Cathedral choir and organist Alfie Beston.

Seeing this classic on the big screen in the beautiful cathedral, with that iconic “Walking in the Air” performed live has got us feeling very festive already. ❄️🎶

Tickets are now fully booked, but you can read more about this special event over on the Truro Cathedral website.

If you’re joining us on the 6th or 23rd, we can’t wait to welcome you!

This event is supported by the BFI Film Audience Network, awarding funds from the National Lottery.
