Sea Cadets Reigate

Sea Cadets Reigate The Sea Cadets is a uniformed, disciplined youth organisation based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy.

Reigate Sea Cadets has been in existence since 1938 and is open to anybody from the age of 10. Our Junior Sea Cadets (aged 10 & 11) meet on a Tuesday from 18:30-20:00. Our mainstream Cadets (aged 12 -17) meet on a Tuesday & Friday from 19:00-21:10. We have an active band which meets on a Monday between 19:00-21:00. During the summer we offer a range of boating activities at which are available on

different days of the week depending on what activities the Cadets undertake. Cadets are not expected to do all of these evenings, we do ask for Tuesday and Friday attendance as a minimum. The Sea Cadets develops skills such as teamwork, leadership and punctuality just to name a few. These skills are transferrable into everyday life and are viewed with high esteem by potential employers. There is a Β£20 non refundable joining fee once Cadets have been issued a uniform but this will last the entire Sea Cadet career. Uniforms are supplied by the Royal Navy but this cost covers consumable items such as badges.

We invite residents and members of the public to join the Mayor at the Town Hall on Monday 23 June at 10.30am for a short service.

The Armed Forces flag will stay raised at the Town Hall from Monday 23 to Monday 30 June.
