Please see this from a very concerned and informative resident. PLEASE put keys in a safe location - tin box and away from the front of your properties. I will attempt to speak to our local PC over coming week to keep us better equipped to stop further occurrences. We hope the residents who were affected by this crime get the matter resolved swiftly. Please see photos below as well as description of the crime.

I live in ettingley close and last night our neighbor's car was stolen of the drive by three men using an antenna to pick up the key signal. They also checked other cars and opened the boot of another. The tracker in the car shows that they also used the car to drive around the other closes in Wirehill, so watch out!

Please be aware a large bang has just been heard, down the path to the woods from Atworth Close then two individuals seen running away. Awaiting camera footage. Think a firework was set off. Neighbours still to check property. Notifying people as plenty of walkers with children and dogs use the path day and night so please be vigilant. Happened at 5.20pm.

FYI going to planning committee this coming Wednesday 19th April.

The council is set to decide on plans to build more than 90 homes on land next to the Alexandra Hospital.
