We are absolutely thrilled to share that our project has come FIRST in the Tesco Community Grants vote at Tesco Redcar!
Thanks to the incredible support of Tesco customers, we have been awarded a £1,500 grant to help us continue the work we do supporting women, young people and children affected by domestic abuse.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to vote for us at Tesco Redcar, we are very grateful for your support. And a massive thank you to the Tesco Redcar team for giving local projects like ours the opportunity to be supported by their customers. We couldn’t have done it without you!

"They're lovely most of the time." That doesn't mean it isn't abuse.
Abuse isn't defined by how often someone hurts you. It's about power, control, fear and harm.
The apologies don't erase it. The good moments don't cancel it. And they don't have to hit you for it to be abuse.
You deserve a relationship that feels safe, not one you have to survive.

The issue is that you don’t feel safe enough to use them.
Abuse isn’t caused by poor communication.
Everyone deserves a relationship where they can speak honestly, disagree, have boundaries and be themselves, without fear of what will happen next.
