Sea Cadets Redcar

Sea Cadets Redcar Whether on landor sea, we offer all young people amazing opportunities for personal development.

The Redcar Sea Cadets, Unit number 633, was formed in Redcar on the 14th November 2005. Our name is Training Ship (TS) Zetland which is named after HMS Zetland a Type II Royal Navy Hunt-class destroyer. We are an essential part of the community of Redcar and Cleveland. We are open to all young people being fully inclusive regardless of need. Redcar Sea Cadets enjoys good ties with all parts of the

local community as well as local agencies such as: Police, Fire Brigade & Ambulance as well as all the other units in Teesside District and beyond. The Unit has especially close ties with the Redcar Branch of the Royal British Legion, Redcar Royal Navy Association, Redcar RNLI, Rotary Club of Redcar, Coastwatch Redcar, Redcar Coastguard Rescue Team, Dormanstown & Redcar Merchant Navy Association (until its closure in December 2023).
