Always lovely to see Olly’s Work laid out and ready to go!

This week Alison, Lorraine, Becky and Claire are helping our team to fundraise and spread awareness about Olly’s story.

We are proud of our relationships with other charities and organisations, today I am drawn to the leaflet - Look closer Exploited young people don’t always look vulnerable.

Olly didn’t look vulnerable but he was 💔

Thank you always for your support - you may volunteer your time, donate or buy raffle tickets or just always check in that we are ok, thank you all always.

🌟👮‍♂️ Helping Young People Stay Safe Through Education 👮‍♀️🌟

Last Friday, local neighbourhood officers were delighted to arrange for Olly's Work to visit St Mary & All Saints CE Primary School in Coley and deliver a special assembly to the Year 5 and Year 6 pupils. 🏫💙

Olly's Work is a charity established in memory of Olly Stephens, dedicated to helping young people understand the risks they may encounter both online and offline, while giving them the confidence and knowledge to make safe and positive choices. 🤝✨

The session was engaging, thought-provoking, and incredibly impactful. The pupils listened attentively, asked some fantastic questions, and showed great maturity when discussing difficult topics such as knife crime, online safety, friendships, peer pressure, and knowing when to seek help. 💭🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Importantly, the presentation was not designed to scare or frighten the children. ❤️ Instead, its purpose was to empower them with the tools, awareness, and confidence to recognise situations that don't feel right, make informed decisions, and know where to turn for support if they need it. 🛡️🌈

Having these conversations with young people is so important. By working together as a community—schools, families, charities, and the police—we can help our children grow up feeling informed, confident, and safe. 🌟🤗

A huge thank you to the team from Olly's Work for delivering such a meaningful session, and to St Mary & All Saints CE Primary School for welcoming us and supporting this important initiative. 👏💙

We're proud to play a small part in helping young people build the skills they need to stay safe and thrive. 🌱✨

Thank you Matt Rodda for your ongoing support in our Olly’s Work and for all you do locally in caring about what’s happening to us all ❤️🌹🌈

I was pleased to be able to show my support for Stuart Stephens, whose 13-year-old son Olly was murdered in an attack linked to online bullying.

Stuart attended a meeting in Parliament about tackling online harms.

Olly’s Work has always been at its heart always to raise awareness about the world that Olly lived in, a world we didn’t know existed and was so dangerous.

Sadly little has changed in the years since we lost him, in fact it’s become more dangerous.

By sharing Olly’s story and his work we hope to protect other children.

It’s a pleasure to work with educators, together we hope we can make a positive difference ❤️🌹🌈

Last week, PCSO Welsh and PCSO Connell teamed up with Olly's Work to deliver an important and informative talk on knife crime to Year 5 and 6 pupils at Churchend Primary Academy.
This session focused on raising awareness around the dangers of carrying knives, the serious consequences involved, and the influence of social media. By working together, we aimed to educate and empower young people to make positive choices and stay safe.
We’re proud to collaborate with partners like Olly’s Work to help prevent knife crime and support our community through early education and engagement. 💙

Olly’s Work supports our local secondary school Highdown School & Sixth Form Centre introducing Yondr Pouches. 🙌✅
We think all children should have 6 hours at school learning and socialising without social media distraction.
We hope all schools will follow suit.
