Our vision is that children in all areas of Reading have an equal opportunity to access enrichment activities that enable them to overcome the impact of social, financial and cultural disadvantage. Projects we fund develop skills that are essential to successful, happy, fulfilled lives. Our mission is to empower children and families to access non-formal learning and enrichment opportunities that

will enable them to gain skills to improve their engagement with their local community and their future.

⭐️ University of Reading Community Festival ⭐️

We had a fab time Community Festival on Saturday. Our buzzer game always attracts the crowds and we were very lucky to have been visited by the Mayor Cllr Dr Alice Mpofu-Coles.

First outing for our new merchandise which went down very well thanks .

⭐️ We had such a fab morning yesterday running two workshops with the year 5 pupils for their Inspire Week. ⭐️

We talked through what is like working for a charity and then the children had to design their own charity. They had some amazing ideas from helping the homeless, sea turtles and ill babies. 🐢

✨ Last week I was out and about in the glorious sunshine delivering some Public Speaking books to our lovely schools who took part in the Public Speaking competition back in February. 📚

📖 We hope these books will help the classes who enter in the years to come! ⭐️

Next up is our annual poetry competition which is happening on the 24th May at the University of Reading - we can't wait! 😊

We truly appreciate any support in our quest to provide enrichment activities to the pupils of the Whitley Excellent Cluster Schools. ⭐️
