FUNERAL (JANAZAH) ANNOUNCEMENT

‎السلام عليكم ورحمة اللّٰه بركاته

‎إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون

Indeed, we belong to Allah and indeed, to Him we shall return.

It is with deep sadness but contentment with the decree of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, that we inform you of the passing of Uncle Ajaz Ahmed Mir, of Erleigh Court Gardens father of Nassir Mir and Modassir Mir

Insha'Allah, the Janazah Salah will take place TODAY, Wednesday 12th August 2026 at 1:30pm directly after duhr

📍 Location: Aisha Masjid & Islamic Centre, London Road, Earley, Reading RG6 1AH

🕑 Burial: - 3:00pm
Shinfield Cemetery
Spencers Wood, Reading RG7 1EE

We ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala to grant him a place in Jannatul Firdous and patience to all his family

Please make every effort to attend the Janazah and burial and earn the reward of fulfilling the rights of the deceased.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"Whoever attends a funeral and prays over the deceased will have one qeeraat (of reward), and whoever attends until the deceased is buried will have two qeeraats."
