Our specialism is naturally dyed wool and silk threads and wool and linen cloth, but we also make and sell a variety of other products. We have a basis in Living History, Botany, Archaeology, outdoor teaching and crafts of many kinds.

We are so busy at the moment with shearing, sorting fleeces, caring for new lambs and all the growing dye plants, it was absolute balm to have such a calm afternoon drop in session for local people to share the skills that transform our sheeps' beautiful fleeces into wearable and useful textiles.

Thank you to all the lovely people who have ordered socks this week. We wish you warm feet and hearts. If you want socks for Christmas, order this week or come to the Hardwick Winter market on Saturday. We will be packing socks on Mondays and Fridays until 19th December.

We are looking forward to being back at Elliott's the old furniture factory at the far end of the wonderful Chiltern Open Air Museum this weekend. We will be demonstrating natural dyeing and weaving on a warp weighted loom. We'd love to see you there.
