Our specialism is naturally dyed wool and silk threads and wool and linen cloth, but we also make and sell a variety of other products. We have a basis in Living History, Botany, Archaeology, outdoor teaching and crafts of many kinds.

Back in April when the fields were still green and the weather was beginning to warm up, we gently sheared all of our Shetland x Gotland flock. We do this in a way that might seem unconventional now, but old wood cuts show was not necessarily unusual in the past. We know our sheep very well and most are happy to lie quietly for shearing, some even like to stay for a massage afterwards. A huge thank you to Betsy who joined us for shearing this year.
