Climate Change Centre Reading - CCCRdg Welcome to the Climate Change Centre Reading. This is about you and your business and it´s urgent!

Climate Change Centre Reading bring together businesses, the community, the Government and education who want to learn about Climate Change, and to create collaborative CO2 momentum in the Thames Valley Berkshire, and beyond. Climate Change Centre Reading

We have set up a LinkedIn group to help TVBLEP members, the Reading Borough Council, the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group members and en

terprises share experiences in developing green, successful businesses that have as minimal impact on the climate as possible. Climate Change adaptation and mitigation must have a profitable business case if we are to succeed in using it as a new way of generating wealth that also safeguards the future for our children. We welcome the news that Reading Borough Council is rolling out their community climate change programme to deliver the Sustainable Community Strategy and the Reading Climate Change Strategy 2013 – 2022. We support and strive for the development of productive, results-driven carbon reduction strategies for organisations in the Thames Valley Business Community. The UK’s climate is changing, but from a local Berkshire perspective we can react to that change in a positive way. Rather than waiting for legislation, think about what impact green businesses and local government can make by meeting together, and exceeding set carbon targets.

Today, on , we shine a light on one of the planet’s most endangered and misunderstood creatures, the pangolin.

Pangolins play a vital role in maintaining healthy ecosystems by controlling insect populations. Yet, they are the most illegally trafficked mammal in the world. Every year, thousands are taken from the wild for their scales and meat, pushing them closer to extinction.

At Pangolin.Africa, our mission is clear: to protect and conserve these remarkable animals through education, research, and direct action.

On this World Nature Conservation Day, we urge you to stand with us — because protecting pangolins means protecting the delicate balance of nature as a whole.
