This event is a fantastic opportunity to unite and empower girls and women in technology in Zimbabwe and worldwide. As the world becomes increasingly digital, it's more important than ever to encourage diversity and gender equality in the technology sector. Thank you to all the amazing volunteers who helped to make the Reading Half Marathon a huge success! Your hard work and dedication as marshals on the course helped to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all the runners. We are so grateful for your support and we couldn't have done it without you.

If you didn't get a chance to volunteer this year, we encourage you to consider signing up for next year's marathon as a runner. Whether you're an experienced runner or just starting out, the Reading Half Marathon is an excellent opportunity to challenge yourself, have fun, and make a difference in the community. And as an added bonus, all participants receive a medal and t-shirt to commemorate their achievement!

Not a runner? No problem! We also need volunteers to help with water, cheering stations, and marshalling. Not only is it a great way to support your local community, but it's also a fun and rewarding experience. We welcome all 18+ volunteers and provide all the support you need to make the most of your experience.

Thank you to all the amazing individuals who joined us in our WellGiving virtual challenge to complete 5149 miles for Zimbabwe to Reading! Although we didn't quite reach our target, we proudly announce that we achieved a great 3437 miles together and raised £175. With 16 athletes and over 48,000 minutes of activity, we are thankful for your willingness to try something new to support our goals.

Your dedication and commitment has significantly impacted the lives of those in need, and we are grateful for your support. Let's continue to make a difference and inspire others to get involved.
