We were delighted to attend the Salesforce World Tour and have the opportunity to connect with so many inspiring people and organisations.

The ongoing support from Salesforce helps us continue our work supporting children who are struggling to read across Berkshire. Partnerships like these make a real difference, enabling us to recruit, train and support volunteers who help children build confidence and develop a lifelong love of reading.

Small Charity Week: Small Charity. Big Difference.

At ABC to read, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to become a confident reader.

As a small charity, we support children who are struggling with reading through trained volunteers who provide one-to-one reading support in schools, helping children build confidence, improve literacy skills and develop a love of reading.

We also deliver workshops that train older students to become reading mentors, giving them the skills to support younger readers while developing leadership and communication skills of their own.

Alongside this, our Ready to Read workshops help parents and carers understand how they can support their child's reading journey at home, providing practical tips and activities that make reading enjoyable and accessible.

Every volunteer, parent, school partner, donor and supporter helps us reach more children and create lasting change.

This Small Charity Week, we are celebrating the collective effort that makes our work possible and thanking everyone who helps us ensure that more children have the confidence and skills they need to succeed.
