Every time you pop to your local supermarket, you have the opportunity to make a real difference to someone in our community.

We are incredibly grateful to our wonderful supermarket partners across Reading and the surrounding area who host our permanent food donation bins. 🛒

So, whether you're doing your weekly shop or simply popping in for a few things, just pop one or two extra items into your trolley and donate them into our collection bin as you leave the store.

It really is that simple.
One or two extra items can make a real difference.

It might be a tin of vegetables, a tin of fruit or another item from our most-needed list. Every single donation helps us provide food parcels to local people and families who are struggling.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far!

​Your continued generosity keeps our shelves stocked, but demand remains incredibly high. As soon as certain items come in, they are immediately going right back out again.
​Right now, we have an urgent need for:

●​Tinned fruit
●​Tinned vegetables
●​Tinned rice pudding
●​Cuppa soups
●​Tinned spaghetti

​Cuppa soups are an important part if our No Cooker Parcels, they are vital for individuals who are rough sleeping and have access to hot water, as well as those staying in emergency accommodation like B&Bs and hotels who do not have access to cookers.

Bingo dabbers at the ready and eyes down! A couple of our staff attended the charity bingo session at Campus Reading International today in aid of ReadiFood Food Bank.

​It was a wonderful chance for us to talk about the various projects that we run under the Faith Christian Group. While our staff didn't secure a full house on their tickets, we've certainly hit the jackpot! Campus Reading International is having a brand-new food donation point set up in their reception for staff donations.

​We are so grateful for their support, for sharing their beautiful venue and surroundings, and for the fantastic partnership we are building. Thank you for your support ! 💙🥫

We are overwhelmed by your kindness! Thanks to everyone who ordered from our Amazon wish list or sent monetary donations over the weekend, our deliveries have already started rolling in today after Friday's appeal. URGENT APPEAL – WE REALLY NEED YOUR SUPPORT

We are about to run out of several essential items, and we URGENTLY need your help.

We are desperately in need of:

🍑 Tinned fruit
🥕 Tinned vegetables
🍚 Tinned rice pudding
🍝 Tinned spaghetti
🥣 Microwave porridge sachets

Some of these items go into every food parcel we provide, so our stocks are running very low and we need to replenish them urgently.

Coley Park Pantry Closure
​Hello everyone – Hobnob here with a little update!
​Due to circumstances beyond our control, Coley Park Pantry won't be open on Thursday 20th August.
​Don't worry – I'll be keeping watch over the pantry until we're back! We'll reopen as usual on Thursday 27th August, from 9.30am–12.30pm.
​The Coley Park Pantry team look forward to seeing you all then.
