A massive shout-out to Alder Grove Church of England Primary School who were the first school to take part in our 30 For 30 challenge ! 🎉

As part of our 30 for 30 Challenge, the Head Teacher asked each class to collect a specific category of food that goes into our food parcels and even set an internal challenge to see which class could collect the most items.

We were absolutely amazed by the response. In total, the school collected 384 items, which is an incredible achievement and will help support local families facing hardship.

A huge thank you to all the pupils, staff, parents, and carers who got involved. Your generosity and enthusiasm have made a real difference.

We are running low on some essential hygiene items and would be very grateful for any donations.
At the moment we particularly need:
• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Toothpaste
• Toothbrushes
• Female roll-on deodorant
• Male roll-on deodorant

These items make a real difference to the people and families we support.

A huge thank you to Virgin Media O2 at Green Park for their incredible support. As part of their internal team event, they reached out to ask how they could help our work, and 80 members of staff generously spent time packing food parcels on their site. They also provided all of the food needed for the parcels.
The parcels all arrived at the warehouse today, and we know they will be such an amazing blessing to those who receive them. We are so grateful for their kindness, enthusiasm, and willingness to support our community in such a practical way. Virgin Media

What a fantastic year we have had as one of the Mayor’s chosen charities.
This morning, staff and volunteers from both of Mayor Dr Alice Mpofu-Coles’ chosen charities gathered in the Mayor’s Parlour as a thank you for all the dedicated hard work they do throughout our community.
The Mayor spoke warmly about the people she has met through our charity over the last year — the often forgotten people in our town whose lives have been touched through kindness, support, and compassion.
As her term comes to an end, we would like to thank her for all of her support this year. It has been an honour to be one of the charities she selected.
It was a lovely morning of reflection and humour, with some laughs along the way too.

To mark this milestone, we’re running a big fundraising raffle — and we’d love your support.

Today we took delivery of tins of fruit and vegetables from a wholesaler, and this purchase was made possible by you. Your generosity will help keep us able to provide food parcels this week, and we are so grateful for your support — thank you so much!
