Last night our Company Section and Seniors made the most of the nice weather (and Graeme's pizza oven) and made pizza 🍕.

The results were amazing (and the rest of the Leaders were very pleased that there was enough for them to enjoy too!)

Well done boys!

As we reach Good Friday, we remember that "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son" (John 3:16) - and rejoice in knowing that Jesus' death on the cross was not the end of the story 🙏

Our Anchors and Juniors were busy over the last 2 weeks creating beautiful Mother's Day cards and heart decorations for their Mums.

We hope all Mum's are having a special day today and loved their gifts.

Well Done Boys! We are very proud of you and all your hard work. Well done to all the other Companies from our Battalion who turned up and took part.

Tonight Anchors and Juniors learnt about David & Goliath - we watched a video of the story, created some amazingly creative artwork (in preparation for our upcoming Competitions Day) and then tried to defeat Goliath using paper cups "slingshots".

We had some very close calls and some amazing shots. Well done Boys!!!

Hannah is studying Computer Science at Reading Uni. Last year, some of the Anchors and Juniors suggested that some of her programming coursework would be really "easy", so tonight she decided to test them.

To start with, she showed them some special programming she did this last week to draw the BB logo and explained some of the code she used to do it.

Next they tried pairing computing terms with their definitions. They had to work out which were the real computer languages from a list Hannah read out and then finally the boys got to try some coding themselves, giving "Robot Neil" the commands to build a plastic cup pyramid.

By the end of the night, I think the boys realised that programming takes a bit more time & thought!!
