Such devastating news from Big Church Festival. With some of our own staff, volunteers and their families, and people from our Reading Church Network in attendance, our hearts and thoughts are with everyone affected. 💔

Bingo dabbers at the ready and eyes down! A couple of our staff attended the charity bingo session at Campus Reading International today in aid of ReadiFood Food Bank.

​It was a wonderful chance for us to talk about the various projects that we run under the Faith Christian Group. While our staff didn't secure a full house on their tickets, we've certainly hit the jackpot! Campus Reading International is having a brand-new food donation point set up in their reception for staff donations.

​We are so grateful for their support, for sharing their beautiful venue and surroundings, and for the fantastic partnership we are building. Thank you for your support ! 💙🥫

Bed for the Night might still be a few months away, but work is already happening behind the scenes!

​We are thrilled to welcome our new Bed for the Night coordinator Hanne. ​Over the last couple of weeks, she has been busy sorting through paperwork and gathering all the vital information needed for Bed for the Night.

We will let you know as soon as she is ready to put out the call for our wonderful volunteers!
So watch this space.

At the weekend, our wonderful Pavilion pantry coordinator, Louise, received some flowers from a member of our pantry who had benefited from using our pantry, friendship, support, and advice.
​They were thanking her and the team for their kindness in their time of need and shared fantastic news that they now had a job!
​Another example of real life being changed. Well done to Louise and the team! 💙

Its has recently be brought to our attention that there may have been some unusual activity that appears to have taken place through our Facebook account.

We are thrilled and deeply grateful to announce that, in partnership with The Mustard Tree, CIRDIC, and CommuniCare, we have been awarded a government grant from the Ministry of Housing!

​Securing this official 3-year funding as part of the government's strategy to end rough sleeping.

This funding will help us support those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, as we expand our street services.

​Praise God for this incredible opportunity.

​A massive thank you to everyone whose hard work, dedication, and heart for our community made this partnership and grant possible.
