1st Cippenham Cubs enjoyed a fantastic evening out taking part in the Trunks Across the Thames Elephant Art Trail, where they successfully tracked down 13 of the beautifully decorated elephant sculptures across Windsor and Eton. 🐘

The challenge was about much more than finding elephants. Throughout the evening, the Cubs worked together as a team, developed their navigation skills, built confidence, and showed great determination. It was a fun-filled adventure that everyone will remember.

We’re delighted to share that, thanks to the generosity of our parents and supporters, we raised Β£65 for Thames Hospice. The charity provides compassionate care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families, making a real difference in our local community. If you would like to donate, you can do so at trunksacrossthethames.co.uk.

β˜€οΈπŸ›Ά 🌊 Wish you were here! We love receiving your updates from summer camps and trips.

This has just come in from Maidenhead Scouts Kaizen Explorers who have recently enjoyed an adventure-filled, adrenaline-packed, and culturally insightful camp in Cornwall.

The real question is jam before cream, or cream before jam? Yes, we went there!

Read all about their experiences in their summer postcard. If you'd like to share your summer stories with us:

It's our birthday, Scouts! πŸŽ‰ πŸ₯³ ✨

119 years since the very first experimental Scout camp pitched up on Brownsea Island, Dorset.

We’re so proud of everything our volunteers have done since then to give young people a place to belong. Thank you to you all! πŸ™Œ

On Tuesday, Chief Scout Dwayne Fields joined in the fun talking to young people and adult volunteers about their experiences on this incredible jamboree.

Read all about it, including words from Dwayne himself, in our latest feature. And just check out the photos of Dwayne's wheelchair basketball skills!

The Malawi 2026 Support Team made a visit to the new borehole at a village near to the project site. Berkshire Scouts Project Africa fully funded the borehole following its visit in 2024. Back at the project site, more than 100 school desks have been repaired, refurbishing school classrooms continues, and the plinth/base for the rainwater harvesting storage tank is almost complete. Berkshire Network Scouts have made a real difference for the local community of Milo.
