It is SHOW DAY! We love the show day feeling! Our TT Minis Junior Company perform Pinocchio today at 2:30pm and we cannot wait to share this with you!

There are just 7 seats remaining for PINOCCHIO.

AND then at 7:15pm our TT Main Company perform our Cabaret - a wonderful improvised show that is staged in a few hours and then performed to you!

It is our Fundraiser - It is a beautiful show where we hope to raise funds to support students to train in the performing arts, regardless of their financial situation.

🇮🇹11 Theatretrain students represented the UK at an international theatre festival in Italy from 6-10 May 2026. Sapperlot festival, held in Brixen, amongst the picturesque alps, brought together over 130 young people from 8 countries to present outstanding original theatre, whilst also enjoying cultural exchanges through skills workshops and theatre workshops with directors from many countries.

♠️♣️♥️♦️Jasmine said: ‘Performing Alice abroad was such a privilege. We put so much work into every scene and seeing it all come together on an international stage was amazing. Representing my country while doing something I love felt incredible, and made every rehearsal worth it. I’m so grateful to have been able to be a part of it and it really was a trip I will treasure forever. I would do it all again in a heartbeat’.

❤️We know that we offer really special and unique opportunities at Theatretrain and are already sold on the power of the performing arts - that’s why we do what we do! But I found this experience so uplifting … perhaps with everything that is going on around the world at the moment it felt more special, but it made me feel very emotional and proud to see young people showing the best in humanity - everyone wanted to listen, to learn, to give and receive with so much power, energy, style and kindness. And at the end of the day, everyone just wanted to laugh together and dance together. Simply Beautiful.

Look at our students go Fiesta last Saturday! We love a fun dance warm up and bringing our energy and sense of fun to everything we do at Theatretrain Reading!

Playing Mafia at Verona airport and reflecting on the wonderful creative minds that surround me and the absolutely beautiful work that was presented by our students this weekend!

Oh my, I am so proud!

More pics to follow from Sapperlot but here we are following our performance yesterday which received standing ovations and so many kind comments recognising the excellent work.

A highlight was hearing from a family where their daughter absolutely loved the show even though she doesn’t speak a word of English. A testament to the craft and storytelling skills of our young cast.
