We wanted to highlight a very special episode of Tea with Judi Dench soon to come featuring Sir Ian McKellen.🌟🎭
These two phenomenal actors have close links to us here at the TGHTAF with Dame Judi as our committed patron and generous advocate, and Sir Ian supporting our charity from it's inception after meeting George and inviting him to watch his performance as Hamlet soon after.
We cannot thank them both enough for their continued support of George's legacy🌻💚

George Award Creative Spotlight🌟

Anna is one of this year's award winners, and has had a fantastic year of performing whilst still in her 2nd year at SLP College. She not only performed a self-choreographed contemporary solo at the SLP Spring Show, but has also performed at the 'Move It 2026' and 'Can You Dance?' conventions, as well as a performance at the Queens Hotel in Leeds for The UK Wedding Event Awards Gala!💃

An update from one of our first year George Award winners Abbie:
Since graduating she has worked with the English National Opera as a running props technician, is an assistant stage manager dep at Stranger Things, and is about to start as a rehearsal assistant stage manager at Matilda for their cast change!🎭

As of February 2027, the West End's Shaftesbury Theatre will be renamed the Judi Dench Theatre in her honour. A worthy dedication, and yet another reason we are proud and appreciative to have Dame Judi as a patron for George's charity💚

Here at GHTAF, we'd like to take a moment to highlight The Mill at Sonning Theatre. George often visited this theatre, as well as doing work experience here!
It is now the founding place and home of our charity, continuing George's legacy at a place he adored 💚🎭

George Award spotlight🌟🟢

One of our first George Award recipients, Sam Jolliffe, has set up their own theatre company Get A Real Job Productions! Their new play True West will be performed at The Harlington, Fleet on the 27th and 28th May.

Congratulations to Sam and his company, and break a leg for the show!🎉💚

Sam Shepard’s play True West will be presented by new Farnham-based theatre company Get A Real Job Productions at The Harlington in Fleet on May 27 and 28 at 7.30pm.
