Sinchu Sorrie Nursery Appeal.Gambia Aim to support by fundraising for Sinchu Sorrie Nursery School in Gambia. children aged 4-7years. 300 children on roll

300 pupils but currently 264 due to Covid restrictions in 2021. Our fundraising has helped build 2 classrooms and extra toilets for both children and staff plus a stand pipe for hand washing.On our annual visits we take pens ,pencils chalk and crayons plus suitable reading materials. We have shipped a box containing large print phonic books, exercise books and footballs as Gambians are great supp

orters of English football. Now that the building programme for classrooms is almost complete we are joining forces with Gambian Projects Overseas a larger registered charity based in Kent. We hope that this joint venture will further strengthen the nursery and aid it's development. We will continue to fundraise for Sinchu Sorrie nursery and send any monies raised to Gambian Project overseas.They will use this money specifically for Sinchu Sorrie nursery

The wall has been fixed and the tree behind moved so as to prevent further damage to the wall. . The money we gave has helped pay for this so good news as the perimeter fence is fixed and keeps the children and school buildings safe

UPDATE: We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Mafugi Fatty of Fugi’s Plumbing for kindly volunteering to do all the plumbing work for our school toilet project in Penyem.

He spent many hours on site today laying the pipes and will return after the plastering and tiling to complete the work.

We are also very grateful to MP Trading for donating all the plumbing materials.
