We have our monthly meeting tonight and it is our March mini show. Whilst the judges are busy in the background we will have the pleasure of listening to our visitors the village voices choir from st combs singing some lovely songs.

Our first meeting of 2026 is on Wednesday 21st in Rathen Hall at 7.15. Peter Chapman is coming along to entertain us with some Doric Verses and Poems. Everyone is welcome to come along.

Members had a lovely evening hosted by Niki Stew Art painting a flower pot with acrylic paints
and learning about mixing colours and different brush strokes. We had a lovely tea and Niky judged our competitions 2 decorated ginger bread men and a decorated candle.

Our next evening is Wednesday 19th November 7pm we will have a candle making evening hosted by Niki Stew art
Can members please bring £4 along to cover her costs along with your usual £2 for raffle and your raffle to hand in and your mug for tea thanks

We all enjoyed our talk, by Catriona Mckay, on the WVS last night. Catriona gave us a brief history of he WVS, then described their role during WWII in the Aberdeen area.

Our next meeting is tomorrow night, Wednesday 15th in Rathen Hall at 7.15pm. We've a change of speaker this month, and Catriona McKay is coming along to talk about the Women's Voluntary Service during WWII.
