We found a fantastic encyclopaedia that is all things Herring! A one-stop shop for beautiful information about the king of fishes.

This whole time we could have been eating Herring fish fingers! Could they make a return?

We recently went fishing and caught these stunning Herrings just off the coast of Broadstairs. They’re coming in thick and fast at the moment and they’re incredibly healthy for you, rich in Omega 3 and full of all the good fatty acids.
You can expect to start seeing these on menus near you as we start to promote them as ‘Silver Shore Herring’ along with recipes and where you can find them.

TWO MINUTES OF YOUR TIME TO HELP THE LOCAL FISHING INDUSTRY!

For the last six months, the Fish Local project has been working with fishing industry experts to highlight fish that can be caught sustainably and locally that are not used as much as they could be. We want to take that fish and help the community to get to know it a bit better. There is a species of Herring that you only find in our local waters and we'd love to make it a local specialty. Something the whole community can be proud of.
