🎉 One Year Anniversary! 🎉

Today we are celebrating one year of our Chess Academy, and we couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve achieved in such a short time.

What started as a small idea has grown into a wonderful community of young chess players, supportive parents, and inspiring schools.

Over this year we’ve watched children learn, grow in confidence, develop focus, and most importantly enjoy the game of chess.

In just one year, we’ve grown more than we ever imagined. We now run 10 chess sessions each week in local schools across Havering and Thurrock, and in our two hubs in Rainham and Basildon. Also we organise tournaments for children and schools. What an incredible journey it has been so far!

We are super grateful for every child who joined our classes, every parent who trusted us, and every school that welcomed us. Your support has made this journey possible.

This is only the beginning and we are so excited for what the next year will bring!

Thank you for being part of our story 💙♟️

Last Saturday we held our second chess tournament for children aged 4–16, and we couldn’t be more proud of everyone who took part.

It was truly inspiring to see so many young minds giving their best across 7 rounds thinking hard, competing fairly, and still sharing smiles with one another.

A very special thank you to GM Tomasz Warakomski for joining us and playing a simultaneous exhibition with ALL the children. What an unforgettable experience!

Also, a huge thank you as well to all the parents who support their children throughout this journey and came along to celebrate with us. Your encouragement makes these events truly special.

It was a fantastic event from start to finish and we’re excited to announce that the next one is coming in summer 2026!
