Rainham Ladies

Rainham Ladies Ladies choir in the area of Medway, Kent Rainham Ladies Choir is a well-established choir based in the Medway Towns in Kent.

Over our 60-plus year history, we have raised thousands of pounds for charities and sung in some fantastic venues including the Royal Albert Hall. We usually promote our own concerts, particularly a carol concert at Christmas, but are very happy to perform at other events for charities, etc.

Rainham Ladies have had a busy but very enjoyable week. Last Saturday, we sang at our joint concert with the The Marlowe Singers, then on Friday we were at the beautiful Cobham Hall for what's become an annual concert. Here are some shots from both concerts. We'll be singing next at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre on the afternoon of Sunday 22nd March - why not drop by to hear us? We will be starting on a new repertoire this month so, if you think you might like to join this friendly choir, now would be a great time to do it! We rehearse on Monday evenings in Rainham so please get in touch to find out more. Message us or email on [email protected].

We Rainham Ladies have enjoyed our Christmas singing in the last few days. On Saturday, 6th December, we enjoyed singing at Mierscourt Primary School's Christmas Fayre. Then yesterday, Monday 8th December, we had our annual Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day (raising over £50) whilst also rehearsing for our Mini Christmas Concert next Monday, 15th December. This is a link to our Just Giving page if you'd like to add to the money raised:

Why not come along to our Mini Christmas Concert on Monday? It's
at Rainham School for Girls, 7.30 for 7.45. Hear some seasonal songs, join in with some carols and enjoy a mince pie (or two!). Free entry, donations welcome.

Rainham Ladies have had a week off as Monday 26th was a Bank Holiday. The previous Monday, we had a fantastic evening at the workshop run by professional soprano Sofia Kirwan-Baez. We worked hard but also had a lot of fun - as can be seen by all those happy, smiling faces. Thank you, Sofia - please come back and work with us again in future!
Next Monday, we will be back to our regular Monday-evening rehearsals, continuing to work on our new, 2024-25 repertoire. If you think you might like to join us, please get in touch
