Almost 2 weeks ago since our Anchor Family Fun Night and this is how happy we were on the night!😆

We looked at friendship, especially in Toy Story (did anyone mention Taylor Swift has a new song out?!) and made our very own slinky dogs😍🐶

It was great to see all our wonderful parents getting involved in our weekly games and crafts!

Last night our Company and Seniors were joined by WaterAid UK💧 We had an interesting talk by David👏 and built our very own tippy taps outside which really made us all realise how lucky and fortunate we are🙏

On Saturday our Anchors went to Chester Zoo thanks to Liverpool Battalion, The Boys' Brigade - we had a roar-some time!🐯

Last month we did our Wilko Walk which sees us take on a sponsored 10K walk to raise money for our charity that year. This year we picked SUDEP Action: Making every epilepsy death count, a charity close to our hearts after last year. The sun came out for the entire walk and the first drops of rain came as we walked back into The Junction!

We are delighted to announce that this year we have raised an incredible £2,552 for SUDEP🤩💜

Huge shout out to everyone who took part but especially Thomas from our Juniors who raised £1,275😮🤩

A couple of weeks ago, Dave had a sausage roll for his dinner at BB and a leader asked the question “yes but does a sausage roll?” There ensued a 20 minute conversation with our Company & Seniors about whether a sausage does in fact roll😂 On Wednesday we took to Billinge Hill to find out! Frozen, sausage roll and chippy sausage - the frozen won!
(Is this what they mean when they say to let the young people have a say in the programme?😂)

Followed by our next stage in the Murder Mystery🕵️

THERE’S BEEN A MURDER‼️👀

We’ve said it before but honestly, our young leaders are incredible. Without being prompted, they’ve planned a 6 week murder mystery extravaganza!🤩

The mystery of who killed Rob Wilko began last night and our 2 detective teams made a start on their first bit of evidence which was all the motives of the suspects and the crime scene in all its glory (including the body!)🤔

Best of luck to ‘Meerkats called J’ and ‘We Already Know…’! And to Rob, it was nice knowing you but these were pretty compelling motives!
