Join us on Friday 27th February from 10am for a Lived Experience Workshop! 💬

Whether you’ve felt financial pressures, struggled with rising costs, or faced other challenges in your community, your voice matters!

Come along to share your experiences in a supportive, welcoming space, meet others in the community, and help shape future plans to improve support across Bury.

The workshop will last a couple of hours and is hosted by Resolve Poverty.

The workshop will be hosted at the Jubilee Centre.

Ring & Ride service review – have your say Deadline: Feb 9, 2026

Have you used the Ring & Ride minibus service? Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) want your feedback to help shape the future of the service.

Ring & Ride is an accessible, low-cost minibus service for people over 70 with walking difficulties and disabled people to get to hospital, the nearest town centre, or accessible transport hub.

The review will look at how Ring and Ride can fit into the Bee Network, Greater Manchester’s joined-up transport system, to make travel easier and how to use resources in the best way possible.

- Current service users will be sent a paper copy of the survey with a Freepost return envelope. If you haven’t received your paper copy by the middle of January, please call the TfGM contact centre 0161 244 1000 Monday to Friday: 7am to 8pm, Weekends and Bank Holidays: 8am to 8pm.

- Individuals and groups can fill in the online survey Local Link/Ring & Ride Surveys - Greater Manchester Combined Authority - Citizen Space

- Groups or organisations can join an online feedback session by emailing [email protected]

- Anyone who finds it difficult to complete the online survey can send feedback to [email protected] ; support for non-English speakers is available by calling 0161 244 1000.

Come along to the Jubilee Centre on Wednesday 1st October from 10am-2pm for a day full of celebration, connection, and community spirit!🌟

We’ve planned a wonderful set of activities for everyone to enjoy. You can take part in a lively game of bingo and a fun quiz, join in with some gentle chair-based exercises to keep the body moving, get creative with crafts, and head outdoors for a refreshing Walk and Talk Stroll.

Whether you’re looking for laughter, relaxation, creativity, or simply good company, there will be something for everyone! 💙

This special day is all about recognising and celebrating the contributions of older people in our community. It’s a chance to come together, meet new friends, catch up with old ones, and enjoy a welcoming and supportive environment!💜💫
