💚 A little reminder for this week at Splice 💚

This week, Splice will be open to STAFF ONLY while we get everything ready for the new term. 🧹✨

(Today is Bank holiday Monday but we are still taking requests for baby bank items)

👶 Baby Bank
Please send any Baby Bank requests to us by 4pm TODAY (Monday).

🛒 Community Pantry
Our Pantry WILL be open on Wednesday before returning to Thursdays during term time.

🌈 OUR FAMILY SESSIONS ARE BACK! 🌈

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Splice from Tuesday 8th September. 💛

Our weekly sessions are:

🗣️ TUESDAY – See, Say and Do
⏰ 1pm – 2:30pm
Language and communication through fun activities and play.

🧸 WEDNESDAY – Discover and Play
⏰ 10am – 11:30am
Lots of opportunities for little ones to explore, learn and play together.

☕ WEDNESDAY CWTCH
⏰ 1pm – 2:30pm
A little bit of “me time” for parents and carers, with quizzes, crafts, cooking, bingo and a chance to meet others while the children are played with by our staff and volunteers. (Please ensure you book a ticket for each adult attending)

🎨 THURSDAY – Creative Craft
⏰ 10am – 11:30am
Get creative, have fun and enjoy making something together.

⚠️ PLEASE REMEMBER – BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL

For health and safety reasons, we have a maximum number of families we can safely accommodate at each session. Please make sure you book your place before coming along.

We really would hate to have to turn anyone away, especially excited little ones, because they haven’t booked and the session is full. 💛

🪪 £1 annual membership (this helps keep the pantry running for everyone 💕)
🕐 Open today (Wednesday !) from 1pm–3pm

📦 Stock changes weekly and is available on a first come, first served basis

⭐️Thanks to Cwtch Mawr Multibank also have loads of extra items to put out for FREE including deodorant, toothpaste, soap, shower gel, cleaning products, laundry wash, air freshener etc. These change according to stock. ⭐️

What a very special day we’ve had. 🥰

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and shared it with us, including Mayor Bridgend County Borough, Cllr Huw David , , Sera Evans MS, Sue Newton from Bridgend Soroptimists, and the wonderful Valleys to Coast Choristers for entertaining us. 🎶💚

But our biggest thank you has to go to our families. ❤️

It was so lovely to see so many of you, including some familiar faces we haven’t seen since the children were little! Seeing them grown up and coming back to Splice made the day even more special. 🥹

And of course, a massive thank you to our staff, their families and our wonderful volunteers, who gave their time and worked so hard to make today happen. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Days like today remind us what Splice is all about — families, community, friendship and hope.

Thank you for sharing our Day of Hope with us. 🌿💚

We have this beautiful Cosatto pink flamingo baby travel system with isofix. 🦩

Comes with absolutely everything you need!

We will let the first person have one who contacts us via MESSENGER and who can collect from our community building in Pyle. (We use this way so that we have a timeline)

Messages are answered during office hours.

Our building is only open on Wednesdays 1-3pm and Thursdays 12- 1pm for collection throughout the summer break.
