This is the real Cost of Cancer. We help those struggling with financially difficult whilst going through cancer

We cannot make your hair grow back, or even make the cancer go away, but what we can do is to help ease the burden of the household bill whilst going through treatment for cancer. So if you or you know someone is going through cancer, please get in touch.

On Sunday 31 May 2026 was a really special day. It was special for so many reasons. 1 because there was an event taking place and money raised was for our charity 2 because I was taking part this time but 3 and the most important reason was because it brought together the best group of people as a community. Serena lost her beloved husband Paul after a courageous fight against cancer which he sadly succumbed to. She had received financial support from us and as a thank you for the last 3 years this incredible woman and her team have put on this amazing event - a Jumpathon. Over the last 3 years they’ve raised over £30k which is incredible. I am so honoured to not only be part of this amazing event but to be in this group of the best people in the world if only for a day. Thank you to for allowing me to be part of your world. ❤️

This is your early warning. We’ll be releasing early bird tickets for our 10th Anniversary Charity Ball on Friday 15th May at 9am. They will only be available for 1 week at this price and once tickets are gone they’re gone. So be quick early bird tickets will only be available at £60pp and will then go up to £70pp. It’s tables of 12. We have the best band in town playing for us you really don’t want to miss out. Set your alarms 15th May 9am. Don’t be late.

We had our 1st live evening event since 2022 in 96deg Cowbridge on Saturday 18th April and what a night it was. I was full of apprehension but I need not to have worried. It was awesome brilliant beautiful night. We had a small band which consisted of 2 singers, Harry and Kate and Alfi the drummer. Oh my word, what he can’t do with a box drumming down in it with his hands is no-one’s business. They were magnificent. They played their 1st set super chill and then after the buffet was served they played a more energetic set which definitely got everyone up dancing. The buffet was spectacular, how a buffet should look in my opinion. Full of colour, everyone thoroughly enjoyed and not much was left over at the end of the night. Huge shoutout to The Green Olive in Porthcawl - Stacy and the team there absolutely nailed it. All in all it was a brilliant night raising money for Cost of Cancer. Next up is the 10 year anniversary ball on the 24th October in The Bear in Cowbridge.

This week the charity celebrated its 10th anniversary of being a registered charity. We are super proud of what we’ve achieved in that time give away £82k. It took us a few years to get going but we are on a roll now are constantly receiving requests for help. Thank you to everyone who’s donated to us, volunteered for us, done an event for us or just been there to support us. You mean the world to us. I would personally like to thank 2 ladies in particular. Emma Thomas and Cath Barnard, I could NOT do this without you and girls we should be really proud of what we’ve achieved in last 10 years. Here’s to another 10.
