📢 Community Fridge Re-Opening Update 📢
We wanted to share an update about the Community Fridge. As many of you know, we were hoping to reopen on 1st December, but unfortunately this was delayed because we were waiting for approval from one of the apps that we are required to use.
We are now 10 weeks on and, despite constant chasing, we are still waiting for that approval. Our most recent update (last Thursday) advised that there are still ongoing delays and that we should hear more in the next few weeks — not very helpful, but sadly it is out of our control.
However, after much deliberation, we have decided that we don’t want to wait any longer. 💚
👉 The Community Fridge will reopen on Tuesday 3rd February.
To be completely and utterly transparent, it is likely that the fridge & shelves may be a little light to begin with, but please rest assured that the intention and commitment is very much there. We already have a lovely team of volunteers who are ready and waiting to help get collections going but for now our hands are a little tied.
